People create beautiful memories with food in kitchen. From food storing to cooking, modern techniques improve our life quality a lot. But there's one important part missing: the stinky smell problem of wasted food. Normally, wasted food stays in trash can a few days before people throw them away, and therefor creates stinky odors, which cause unpleasant experience. Inspired by human swallowing mechanism, the new trash can mimics how human's tongue, epiglottis and muscle of esophagus work together. It can successfully block stinky molecules even when the trash can is opened. We also use nanostructure of lotus' leaf and toilet hinge technique from a german company to accomplish the design goal. Start from blocking stinky smells of wasted food, we have an envision to develop a stinkless wasted food compost system for every families. We believe that if every families can take care of their own wasted food, it would have huge good impact for our society and environment.
