Human-Centered Design (HCD) is an approach to design and innovation rooted in understanding the people who will use whatever you create. HCD is a valuable skill that is compatible with biomimicry because even the best nature-inspired solution won't be feasible if it doesn't meet the needs of people and fit into the community it's meant to serve.
