BGDC teams: share your story!

We've been hearing exciting things from teams who have signed up to participate in the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge. One of these teams, from the University of Colorado, Boulder, has been documenting their biomimicry design journey on their blog here.

Group leaders Ted Thayer and Eliot Kersgaard shared some pictures of their design process to date and will be continuing to blog about the ups and downs of bringing a biomimetic design idea from concept to reality.

In the 2012-2013 Student Design Challenge, a team from the German University of Cairo in Egypt wowed judges with their clever irrigation solution. Two years later, the team, including Nariman Lotfi, Yara Yassin, Reham Mogawer, Mona Diab, Ahmed Hassan, and Doa'a Mohamed Refaat, is working hard to bring their innovation to market in Egypt.
